WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Plant Manager is responsible for all aspects of component manufacturing and the management of associates employed within the plant.
A day in the life of the Plant Manager will include:
Completing weekly inventory
Completing weekly inventories for lumber and hardware
Monitoring inventory control
Creating and implementing a layout for the plant to optimize inventory flow for the current product mix.
Calculating weekly BCS Spreadsheet
Planning and controlling the budget
Completing a daily walk-through inspection
Providing for the safety and security of the employees and the plant
Administering safety and quality training to all new hires on the first day of employment and to all associates annually.
Ensuring that equipment is maintained for reliability and calibration.
Planning the schedule and allocating work amongst employees
Determining the type of materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, or tools and technique to be used to complete each project with quality and efficiency.
Updating the 84 timecard system daily.
Reporting all hourly associate sick time, vacations, attendance, and evaluations to the corporate office.
Actively participating in the evaluations of hourly associates and assessing employees' productivity and efficiency.
Adjusting employee complaints and grievances, and disciplining employees. This position has the authority to hire and/or terminate associates.

Responsibilities:
Inventory control
Responsible for Profit and Loss of Plant
Understand how to perform every position in the plant efficiently and correctly
Correct all quality issues and develop solutions to prevent them
Audit outgoing loads for completeness.
Prepare daily production plan
Qualifications:
Able to speak, read and write Spanish, or be willing to learn (where applicable)
84 Components Fork Truck License
Basic math skills
Willing to relocate
Good leadership skills
Good interpersonal skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Must be able to work under pressure
