The Transportation and Logistics Project Manager (LPM) leads a cross-functional team consisting of supply chain, repair depot, training, technical documentation, and Transportation and Logistics analyses professionals. They will: 1. Oversee the execution of all Transportation and Logistics efforts supporting one or more specific radar sensor programs. This specific role is for an individual contributor to serve as the deputy LPM of a Solid-State Radar program. 2. Work closely with senior LPMs, Program Managers and Government Transportation and Logistics customers on the day-to-day management, measurement, and reporting of Transportation and Logistics contract scope, including Earned Value Management. 3. Devise and implement plans, budgets, and schedules in response to program requirements, and monitor work progress of Transportation and Logistics personnel assigned to tasks to ensure milestones are met. 4. Ensure design changes are reviewed for Transportation and Logistics impacts, and they might serve as a member of the programs Configuration Control Board. 5. Support business capture activities, such as Basis of Estimate preparation, and may be assigned to participate in technical volume authoring, and capture and programmatic reviews. 6. Work for Global Sustainment and manage the people, processes, and tools that deliver Transportation and Logistics products and analyses to the program office. 7. Perform technical, operational, and business coordination between the Global Sustainment Centers of Excellence (COE), assigned LM Program Management Offices (PMO), and other RMS functions to ensure horizontal and vertical integration. Basic Qualifications: 1. Knowledge of modern Transportation and Logistics disciplines 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 3. Experience in team building and conflict resolution 4. Must obtain and maintain a Department of Defense SECRET security clearance 5. Familiarity with data analysis, metrics collection, and reporting, using Microsoft Office Suite applications Desired Skills: 1. Transportation and Logistics experience 2. Team Building and Conflict Resolution 3. Scheduling and Resource planning 4. Earned Value Management (EVM) & Cost Account Management (CAM) experience 5. Risk Management 6. Knowledgeable/Experience in Export Control process / guidelines 7. Proposal cost estimating and technical volume authoring 8. Experience with repair depot 9. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
