If you want an exciting career with one of the largest off-price retailers voted the best place to work in the nation, join the Burlington Stores team as an O utbound Transportation and Logistics Analyst This position will support the Manager of Outbound Transportation and Logistics, the Director of Outbound Transportation and Logistics, and the Supply Chain Analytics team to track all costs associated to Outbound Transportation and Logistics. This individual will have primary responsibility for the use of our CTSI Freight Audit System, domestic invoice and accessorial review and approval, as well as exception and project management. This role will manage and form strategic relationships with our pool point providers as well as CTSI auditors to ensure accurate and timely review of their account. The position will be responsible to review and analyze all one-off financial analysis requests by members of the Outbound Transportation and Logistics team, including but not limited to rate changes, accessorial charges, new stores and carrier costs, fuel adjustments, and other projects.
Responsibilities:
Detailed knowledge and management of the CTSI Freight Audit System to perform consistent reviews of all outstanding charges and rate changes with timely resolve
Evaluate and research all vendor disputes, statements, and backup documentation to resolve system exceptions
Provide primary analytical and reporting support and as it relates to all costs associated to Outbound Transportation and Logistics to ensure accurate tracking and accruals
Periodic review of all contracted rates with vendors and Burlington Procurement
Dedicated administration functions as it relates to Descartes PCSTrac and pool point systematic requirements
Outbound Transportation and Logistics team project tracking and reporting
Support the Manager of Outbound Transportation and Logistics with other duties and special projects as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a Supply Chain/Finance/Business-related field preferred
Requires 1-3+ years experience in Transportation and Logistics/Transportation or Supply Chain-related field
Knowledge of invoice resolution pertaining to Transportation and Logistics operations
Requires a strong financial analysis background
Requires familiarity with transportation procedures, definitions, and processes
Requires high level of proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office tools to analyze data and produce reporting
Ability to create and maintain business relationships with our Freight Audit System representatives as well as various carrier account managers to ensure satisfied Burlington/carrier partnerships
Self-confidence managing business issues in conflict and facilitating key stakeholders to achieve best resolution for overall business
