Role Overview:
We are seeking a well-seasoned, responsible, and dynamic individual to join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Specialist. This position requires in-depth knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, with a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming shipments, ensuring item conditions and counts match purchase orders and packing lists
• Fulfill orders by picking materials, verifying them, and preparing them for shipment
• Manage shipping processes, including scanning, checking, and packing
• Generate and provide shipping quotes to customers
• Verify and process shipping documents, packing slips, and labels
• Handle both domestic and international shipping
• Participate in weekly team meetings
• Assist with front office overflow and cross-training
• General office maintenance and organization
• Prioritize and complete daily tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills:

• Proficiency with bar code systems, SKUs, and serial numbers
• Strong multitasking abilities to meet shipping and receiving deadlines
• Capability to lift 80 lbs or more and tolerate physical demands
• Ability to work in varied temperatures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving, attention to detail, and customer service skills
• Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping software

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping/receiving or related fields
• Familiarity with shipping procedures and customer service principles
• Experience with electronics is highly desirable

Schedule & Work Location:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• This position is on-site in Mercer County, NJ. Relocation to Hazlet, NJ, is required before starting.

Compensation:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience
