HR Specialist Compensation
Responsible for assisting with the analysis of Hunterdon Healths compensation programs.
Compensation management function include:
Managing the compensation request process. Completing compensation reviews and recommending appropriate market adjustments to management. Reviewing new and revised job descriptions. Creating new job classifications as needed.
Collaborates with appropriate members of Human Resources to determine wage and salary rates for new hires, promotions and/or transfers as needed.
Complete market surveys.
Assist with processing of annual merit increase program.
Provide reporting and analysis regarding compensation and other HR Metrics as requested
Acts as resource for management and provides guidance on Compensation policies and related issues.
Provide performance management support ensuring position descriptions accurately define position requirements and duties.
Provide HRIS support as needed.
Assist with other duties within HR as requested.
Minimum Education:
Required: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Management, Business or related area
Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Required: Two years of Human Resources experience in compensation
Preferred: Three or more years of Human Resources experience in compensation and/or HRIS.
License, Registry or Certification:
Required: None
Preferred: HR Certification, SHRM-CP or SCP or other HR certification
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Required:
Computer experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google, Word and Excel.
HR Management Systems experience.
Superior analytical/statistical skills and the ability to handle multiple large assignments and projects simultaneously are essential.
Accuracy and an attention to details is essential.
Excellent organization, presentation and communication skills.
Preferred: Experience with Infor and/or UKG HR/Payroll and/or Timekeeping systems highly desirable.

Schedule: Temporary (Full-time), Day shift, M-F, 8:00-5pm
