Job Posting Title: Sales Manager at our Fitness Club
PickUp USA Fitness is currently hiring for the Sales Manager position at our fast-growing fitness club.
Who We Are
PickUp USA Fitness is a fast-growing basketball-focused fitness club. Our unique club provides our members with a full weight-room and cardio area, luxury lounges, shooting machines, and several basketball courts.
We are passionate about delivering an unmatched basketball-focused fitness club experience to our members. To do this, we strive to maintain an immaculately clean club that operates one-of-a-kind basketball related services. One of these services is our Officiated PickUp Games. We run back-to-back-to-back organized 10-minute basketball games with 2 referees daily. In addition, we run daily group training sessions and offer private training packages to members looking to take their game to the next level!

Job Summary
You will complete a comprehensive paid training program that, upon successful completion, will set the foundation of success for you as our Assistant General Manager.
As a Sales Manager, you will be the heart and soul of the member service functions within the club. As a PickUp USA ambassador, you will promote, sell, and add to the PickUp USA culture inside and out of the facility. Functions that are integral to our core value of creating outstanding guest, member, and team member experiences. You will help create and nurture a member-centric team that is committed to our service promise of delivering a clean, friendly, and well-maintained club that operates outstanding basketball focused fitness services. You will report to and partner closely with the General Manager to fulfill operational and sales responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
The Sales Manager will help oversee all club operations along with the General Manager.
Primary responsibilities include the following:
À Assist the General Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and nurturing friendly and inclusive team members to support needs of members
À Prospect and Follow-Up with leads relentlessly
À Sell memberships and retail
À Drive operational results through team accountability
À Drive financial results through sound operation, that creates a high value proposition for our customers
À Monetize this high value proposition through persistence, diligence, and skilled salesmanship
À Conduct in-person consultations
À Present club tours
À Close deals
À Generate referrals and reviews
À Nurture long term relationships
Estimated % Time Spent
À 10% of the shift: Administrative Duties
À 10% of the shift: Managing Staff
À 80% of the shift: Sales and Prospecting and Developing Positive Member Relationships
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
À Experience in customer-facing position with demonstrated customer-service skills
À Experience in prospecting and sales with demonstrated strong communication skills
À Leadership skills and experience supervising, directing and coaching teams
Minimum Educational Level
À High School Diploma
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications
À 1-3 years of sales experience (REQUIRED)
À 1-3 years of broad retail/hospitality/operations industry experience
À 1-3 years of management/leadership experience
À Basketball experience and passion
À Fitness industry experience preferred
À Operations management experience preferred
Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions
À Ability to work in fitness club; move about club floors and rooms; review, revise, create club paperwork; communicate with employees, members, prospects, club owner, & vendors
À Occasionally required to demonstrate or explain proper physical fitness activities, techniques, and procedures
À Ability to communicate telephonically with members and prospects
À Ability to access and operate Company computer systems including preparing documents, entering data into computer systems, reading reports from a computer data base or email system
À While performing the duties of this job, regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
À The noise level in the environment is occasionally loud
À Ability to work a varied schedule to support the needs of the business, including frequent extended workdays, and weekends and holidays may be required
