Position Summary:
The Technical Director, Supply Chain Solution Architecture will be responsible for designing and implementing supply chain planning solutions using SAP S/4, Kinaxis Rapid Response, and/or IBP that meet the needs of our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain planning along with demonstrated solution architecture and implementation experience using these or similar tools and technologies. Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and operate supply chain planning solutions and strategies utilizing SAP S/4, Kinaxis Rapid Response, and IBP that align with the company's supply chain goals/needs.
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, design, build, manage, and operate solution delivering business value.
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, understand, and share requirements as necessary to architect, design, and implement solutions.
Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and other technical documentation.
Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of supply chain planning solutions.
Ensure that solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable while adhering to applicable policies and procedures.
Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in the supply chain planning solution space. Recommend complementary and/or new solutions as appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
10+ years of experience in an information technology related field delivering and supporting supply chain planning, with at least 5 years focused on solution architecture and implementation.
Exceptional understanding of supply chain planning processes including demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, production planning, and S&OP including statistical forecasting MRP, allocation, scheduling, and constraint planning.
Demonstrated experience with configuration of workbooks, key figures, master data, and planning parameters along with heuristic and optimized planning algorithms.
Demonstrated subject matter expertise in SAP S/4, Oracle EBS or equivalent ERP system and Kinaxis Rapid Response, SAP IBP, or equivalent planning system.
Demonstrated success in designing, delivering, and supporting integrated planning solutions using disparate technologies.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ideal Candidates Would Also Have:
Experience working internationally with a globally dispersed team including management of offshore technical development team(s).
Exceptional understanding of supply chain planning processes related to capacity and material allocation in a constrained environment.
Exposure to data integration approaches and technologies connecting SAP S/4 with and other non-SAP systems.
Prior experience working in a global life sciences supply chain planning environment.
