Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bus Driver to join our transportation team. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a bus and transporting passengers to their destinations. This position requires excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to passenger safety. Responsibilities: - Safely operate a motor coach, shuttle, or limousine to transport passengers to designated locations - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle - Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the bus - Collect fares or tickets from passengers as required - Provide excellent customer service and address passenger inquiries or concerns - Follow predetermined routes and schedules - Ensure the safety of all passengers by following proper safety protocols - Communicate effectively with passengers, co-workers, and supervisors
Experience: - Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role is preferred - Familiarity with mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance is a plus - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement is required - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing - Must have the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations - Experience with paratransit services is an asset We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our transportation department.
