2024 School Year
TEACHER OF ADULT BASIC EDUCATION/GED PREP (Grant Funded Position)
Brief Description: The Board of Education of the Middlesex County Magnet Schools is currently seeking applicants to fill the position of Teacher of Adult Basic Education/GED PREP for a funded program that will run the date of hire through the Middlesex County Magnet SchoolsÆ Inmate Education Program at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center. This program helps prepare clients for the High School Equivalency Test within a small classroom setting. This is a grant funded teaching position with other duties as assigned by the Director of Adult Education or his/her designee. Salary is based on 6 hours per day for 5 days a week and includes enrollment in the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS). The position runs from January 1, 2024 thru December 31, 2024. Qualifications: Candidates must possess or qualify for a valid New Jersey teaching certificate. Appointment: Appointment is at the discretion of the Board of Education.
