The School of Education at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) invites applications for a part-time, temporary position starting in February, 2024.
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will assist in areas related to certification, program development and approval, and early field placement.
Tasks may include support related to compliance with state certification regulations - code changes, periodic program review, and state and federal reporting requirements. Local compliance issues - school board approvals, fingerprinting, background checks, etc.
This individual would be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Researching and compiling information on state certification regulations.
Preparing reports and documentation for state and federal agencies.
Assisting with program reviews and audits.
Providing support to faculty and staff.
Assist in being a liaison between TCNJ and local schools with respect to Board approvals, background checks, fingerprinting, and other compliance issues.

Qualifications:
Applicants should:
Have an earned bachelor's degree.
Have excellent organizational and communication skills.
Be comfortable talking to partners in school districts across the state.
Preferred qualifications
Have been a teacher in a New Jersey public school
Be familiar with teacher education programs
