Reports to the Guest Services Director, Part-time, FLSA non-exempt. Position is open until filled.
Responsibilities
The Part-Time Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the general operations of the Guest Services office; maintaining protocols, administering procedures and policies, supervising Guest Services representatives and providing excellent customer service to tour management, promoters, ticket buyers, and donors to the Theatre; to serve as a show supervisor for evening and weekend performances as scheduled. Must be available for flexible scheduling that includes day/evening/and weekend hours to provide supervision and assistance to staff and for related show supervisor responsibilities. Approximately 22-24 hours per week.
Specific Duties
Maintain direct contact with patrons by selling tickets and providing information regarding performances and general Guest Services operations
Deal effectively with conflicts, such as seating issues and addressing patron complaints
Maintain staff morale, enforcing policies and protocols, opening and closing the Guest Services office, reconciling cash deposits
Must be able to work flexible days/evenings and weekends as scheduled
Provide support to the Guest Services Assistant Manager/Concierge and the Guest Services Director in training existing and new Guest Services representatives
Carry out required supervision of Guest Services representatives and liaise with State Theatre Ushering and Production staffs as well as show management resources to address any and all ticketing issues and patron needs for assigned performances
Other duties and special projects as may be assigned
General working knowledge of internet
Working knowledge of Windows suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook email systems
Prior sales, customer service, and theatre experience preferred
Salary Hourly $16 - $17 depending on experience
