PURPOSE OF JOB: A nonexempt position responsible for performing a variety of duties dependent upon assignment. Position will be assigned based on practice need and will flex between front desk and clinical area based on assessment of daily needs. Providing reception, scheduling, patient check-in, patient check-out, telephone service, and other patient-related services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Schedule patients for office visits and procedures


Meet and greet patients


Answer telephone


Scanning


Data entry into ECW billing (EPM) system and electronic medical record


Obtaining Prior Authorizations and Referrals from insurance companies


Cover satellite offices when needed


Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:

Medical office experience desired


Eclinical Works and Meditech experience preferred.

Other Skills:

Basic computer knowledge


Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills


Scheduling flexibility
