Description
Stark & Stark has an opening in our Lawrenceville, NJ office for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our team. The position will provide support for Personal Injury attorneys. The right candidate will have the extraordinary opportunity to continue their professional development in a challenging but collegial environment.
Responsibilities:
The role will be responsible for the legal support of two plaintiff personal injury attorneys in a fast-paced environment.
Perform the legal support duties of client intake, gathering medical records, preparation of pleadings, discovery demands, discovery responses, and motions.
Professionally answer and handle a high volume of phone calls courteously.
Scheduling meetings and conference calls, scanning documents, and managing multiple calendars and contacts.
Qualifications
Experience in Plaintiffs Personal Injury matters is preferred.
The right candidate will have at least two years of experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must.
The ideal candidate will be self-directed and detail-oriented.
Able to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Applicants must have some knowledge of all aspects of personal injury-type work.
