Receptionist Scheduler Infusion Room
The Receptionist Scheduler will:
Act as the initial contact for the unit's services.
Greet all patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner and directs appropriately.
Make patients and family members feel comfortable while taking necessary information and/or directing them to the appropriate location.
Acquire all pertinent patient information and copies necessary material and hospital records.
Promptly notify appropriate personnel of patient arrival, when required.
Screen incoming calls, determines urgency, and routes to appropriate personnel or takes messages in accordance with established department procedure.
Respond to calls and patients/visitors by providing information based on knowledge of relevant departmental and Hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum of two (2) years office experience.
Highly-motivated, independent thinker and self-starter.
Enthusiastic team player.
Excellent organizational, planning and interpersonal skills.
Able to manage multiple projects.
Strong follow-up and communication skills.
Bilingual: Spanish/English, strongly preferred.
Requires attention to detail and computer accuracy as pertains to data entry and patient scheduling and competence on basic office machines.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Good computer skills.
Word processing, office scheduling, familiar with Microsoft Office.
Schedule: Per Diem, 2-3 Days a week, flexible. Hours: 8-430pm
