EMSL Analytical, Inc., is currently seeking a Full Time Sample Receiving Data Entry Clerk for its Headquarters location in Cinnaminson, NJ. This is an administrative support position for an environmental testing laboratory.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Log in samples from all lab divisions.
Open packages; handle, count, split environmental samples to ensure sample integrity is retained and that the packaging is not compromised.
Create and send invoices to clients.
Review paperwork and accurately interpret customer chain of custody for all incoming samples to ensure completeness and correctness.
Email, scan, fax and copy electronical report results to clients when requested.
File hardcopy documents.
Make sure all samples are placed in proper laboratory area to await analysis.
Accept samples from walk-in customers and assist with customer or client questions via walk-in, phone, and e-mail as needed.
Clerical and Administrative duties such as answering phones, filing, faxing, assisting clients, scanning, and mailing as necessary.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
High School degree or equivalent; Associates Degree/Some College Coursework completed is a plus.
One to three years experience with high volume data entry is desired.
Previous experience with chain of custody documents is a plus.
Must be proficient in MS Office 2000 and must be able to type 50 words per minute.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clientele.
Must be willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
Must be a team player.
Must be able to prioritize work assignments.
Must be organized and have attention to detail.
Critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently are a plus.
Must be able to lift min of 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand and sit for various lengths of time.
Available Shifts:
Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday Rotational Schedule to include 1-2 Saturdays per month.
