SALARY:
The salary range for this position is $45,797.84 to $72,189.54 for Schedule A, and $45,797.84 to $68,580.06 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.
Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B.

The Camden Vicinage is seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented individual with strong customer service and communication skills to provide administrative support. Under the direction of Court Executive 2B (Municipal Division Manager), the selected candidate will work with Microsoft suite applications and judiciary web-based automated systems, maintain electronic files and spreadsheets for various subject matters, process information, type correspondence and form letters, prepare required reports, process mail, and follow up as deemed appropriate, answer phones and inquiries from attorneys, litigants, staff and the public and perform other related duties as required.
REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.



Example of Duties




Respond to inquiries and provide information/assistance to the municipal courts, members of the Judiciary, and the public.
Respond to customer complaints.
Explain Judiciary policies and procedures.
Collect, compile, and organize statistical data.
Perform research and prepare reports.
Establish and maintain electronic and manual files.
Prepare correspondence.
Monitor the Municipal budget and handle the divisionÆs purchasing.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, trainings, and other events for municipal court judges and court staff.
Monitor the on-boarding process for new municipal court judges and staff.
Manage and coordinate the schedule for judges for CJP, Video Court and Civil Commitment Hearings.
Process approvals for POAA and DUI expenditures.
Promulgate and process transfer and consolidation orders.
Perform other related duties as required.




Qualifications




Three years of experience in an office environment performing a variety of clerical and support services to include keyboarding and one or more of the following: document or information processing, handling payments for fees, recording monies received, reconciling balances or accounts and/or scheduling meetings or appointments.




Supplemental Information




Driver's License: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.


Authorization to Work: US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.

Residency Law: In accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), the "New Jersey First Act," all persons newly hired by the Judiciary within one year must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey. Any person may request an exemption from that requirement from the Employee Residency Review Committee in the Department of Labor & Workforce Development on the basis of either hardship or employer critical need.
