Position Summary:
Performs Clerical and Administrative support to the Staff Development/QI/Infection Control/Operation nurses and members of these teams. Interacts with administration, management, licensed professionals, billing department accounts payable, and clients to ensure accuracy of competencies and immunization records, reports and graphs, and billing and services provided.
Recruitment Requirements:
High school graduate/GED equivalent
Minimum of 1 year data entry/Clerical and Administrative experience preferred.
PC literate with strong keyboard skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Working knowledge of medical terminology and experience functioning in a health care environment preferred.
Able to travel to other offices as required to assist with orientation of staff and/or peers.
Physical Requirements/ Demands:
Able to sit for extended periods of time in a fixed position.
Able to input data for extended periods of time.
Able to withstand eyestrain from computer system.
Able to lift minimum of 20 pounds.
Able to focus on responsibilities effectively even with surrounding office noise.
Able to operate office equipment, telephones, computer terminals, fax machine and copier
