About Access Bio:
Access Bio is dedicated to the early detection and diagnosis of infectious diseases through its research, development, and manufacturing of in vitro rapid diagnostic tests, biosensors, and molecular diagnostic products. Job Title: Business Development Manager
Division: Business Development
Report Line: Executive VP of Business
Expend business portfolios and create long term value of company
Duties & Responsibilities
Work with various departments and report to the Head of Business Development.
Providing analysis for evaluating new business opportunities such as in/out licensing, collaborative research and development agreements, joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions.
Managing a variety of projects and developing new business opportunities in target markets for the companyÆs competitive businesses
Generating business opportunity leads through networking at trade shows and conferences
Following up with new business opportunity leads and referrals generated from the sales team
Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and strengthening companyÆs competitive growth
Keeping up with the latest industry developments and market positioning of corporate competitors
Preparing status reports on goals
Qualification
Bachelor or Graduate Degree in biotechnology, AI, pharmaceutical, medical diagnostics, and digital healthcare or equivalent fields.
5+ years' BD experience in Life Sciences Markets, such as Bioprocessing or Biotechnology.
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales manager or a relevant role a with track record
Technical understanding of biotechnological process
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Customer and relationship focus
Must be available for an on-site Interview in Somerset, NJ
Must be available for possible business trip (less than 10 %)
